If I say to you
.thumbprintpoetry.
Life how fragile,
I would have to also say to you,
Life how
resilient.
Plans for both are
inevitable,
the unexpected to bring,
when you find broken,
A hole left behind,
An anchor in time,
Loss measured against how much you treasure.
Time taking to recover,
wellness some never come.
constant pinging all that future lost,
the life that
burns medium bright.
Rebuilding through sadness and strife.
Time only heals as a perspective,
the scars will
always be reflective.
Engrain story with each candle I light.
knowing it will never be the same.
Better after worse,
Holding fast to the notion,
Stronger and deeper
resilience the new skill
Compassion.
for comfort and care,
noises the
voices until silence is clear.
supposed to be,
the way purpose
being built,
foundation and the strength,
and even the hurt.
The story inspires and moves me to reach,
To the creator that creates
The receiving changed to the giving.
Turbulence when the change comes
Transition lead intention,
Treasure buried in story
Life led and
then a hole we leave.
Revealed as it is supposed to be.
